Used off-roaders and 4x4s for Coín

Coín is still a proper country town, with market gardens, citrus and farms where the vehicle has to work: pulling a trailer, carrying sacks or climbing a broken-up lane to a plot. Not just any SUV will do that, and buying a used off-roader without knowing what to look for gets expensive. We are in Málaga itself, we are happy for your own mechanic to check the low range and the axles before you decide, and if you cannot come in, we will bring it to Coín.

Market gardens, farms and lanes nobody repairs

Around the town, the land is a mix of valley floor with market gardens and fruit trees, olive-covered hills and scattered farms reached by dirt lanes that rut up and fill with loose stone whenever it rains. Plenty of people have a plot to look after, horses, or a country house at the end of a track that nobody ever repairs. Then there is the A-355, with its winding stretches towards Monda.

If the vehicle is going to work the land, tow or tackle bad lanes regularly, this is where a body-on-frame off-roader with a low range earns its place: short gearing to climb with a load, toughness when the underside takes a knock, and real towing ability. It uses more fuel and needs more careful servicing, so we only recommend one if that is how you will use it. If your lane is short and in decent shape, an all-wheel-drive SUV will cost you less.

  • Come and see it in Málaga

We are at Calle Cuevas Bajas, 8, 29004 Málaga, in the Carretera de Cádiz district. You get there on the A-357 and then the A-355, or on the A-404 through the two Alhauríns.

  • Or we bring it to Coín

We deliver to the address you give us, with the change of ownership done before the car leaves the forecourt. The cost and the day are agreed with you before you reserve anything.

  • Your car as part-payment

We value the car you have now and take it off the price, with its change of ownership included.

  • It depends on the access and on what you will be doing. If you climb a sloping dirt lane loaded up or with a trailer, yes: a low range makes a big difference and spares the clutch. If you are only getting home along a short track in good condition, an all-wheel-drive SUV is usually enough and is much cheaper to run.
